Recycle & Rejuvenate Human Hair Services:

SB McGill Eco Energy & Environmental Inc. runs a recycling program for discarded human hair, wigs, synthetic hair pieces, weaves, and extensions.

We partner with 150 local barbershops and salons to collect these materials for sorting, cleaning, and repurposing.

Our monthly recycling efforts result in over 4 tons of recycled human hair, 2 tons of synthetic hair pieces, and 1500 hair extensions and weaves.

We use high-quality human hair and synthetic pieces to create affordable wigs, hair extensions, weaves, hair infusions, and hair loss concealers. The lower-quality synthetic hair and damaged human hair are recycled into felt for sale as craft fiber.

Our recycling program not only benefits the environment by diverting waste from landfills and incinerators, but it also supports our local economy by employing 15 full-time staff.

Our future plans include expanding our collection services, diversifying our product lines, and establishing partnerships with national retailers to grow our operations.

The success of our recycling program demonstrates the potential for turning waste into valuable resources, creating both environmental and economic opportunities. We are committed to building a sustainable business and contributing to a greener, more circular economy.

As part of our green energy and environmental focus, we plan to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at strategic locations in the communities we serve in 2024.

We have identified high-traffic areas such as

These locations give EV drivers convenient charging access while patronizing businesses or spending time in our communities and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

ECO Shipping Services
